Event Log Monitoring

When something important happens on a server, you need to know immediately, and you need all the details.

ServerAssist will respond whenever an unfiltered event is generated to any of the event logs, improving administrator response time to system malfunctions.

All logs are monitored, including the additional logs seen on domain controllers (Directory Service, DNS Server and File Replication Service),

together with any custom logs supported by the Windows event log architecture.

If the response includes sending one or more e-mails, full details of the event are included in the e-mail.

Advanced filtering ensures that you only see the events that are relevant to your environment.

Events can be filtered by type, source, category, message content, event identifier and user, allowing you to focus on certain events, and ignore those that are unimportant.
