Rapid Configuration

Once agents are installed on servers, and network devices are being monitored, some configuration will be required to tailor ServerAssist to your particular environment.

While ServerAssist ships with sensible "out of the box" defaults, some aspects of the

configuration, such as e-mail addresses used for notifications, cannot be preset, and must be entered manually.

For large networks, configuring each system individually is time-consuming and error-prone. To combat this, ServerAssist includes

several wizards to make configuration a fast and problem-free task.

A configuration wizard allows an initial setup to be created in only a couple of minutes, covering core monitoring of key indicators, event logs, services and performance items, together with e-mail and other notification methods.

A large organisation typically has several servers performing similar roles, and once one server has been configured, the Copy Configuration Wizard can be used to quickly duplicate those settings to other servers on the network.
