The ServerAssist tools provide informational, customisation and diagnostic capabilities. AnalyserSome of the ServerAssist components perform tasks within a multi-threaded environment, and it can be difficult to understand which tasks are being processed, and the load that each one is placing on the system. The analyser is an application that lists the active threads within these components and the task that each thread is performing. If necessary, the processor load associated with each thread can be displayed.PersonaliserThe ServerAssist reports exported from the console and generated by the operations server include the ServerAssist logo by default. The personaliser allows this logo to be changed to match an organisation's individual branding. All common image formats can be used, and the personaliser will resize the image as necessary to ensure it fits on the reports.Note that the personaliser does not change the logo used in the ServerAssist user interface. DiagnosticsServerAssist's behaviour, and the availability of certain functionality, is dependent to a large extent on the configuration of the system on which it is installed. The diagnostics application provides detailed information about key aspects of that configuration.Normally, it is not necessary to run this application. It should only be used when diagnosing a specific problem as requested by your technical support representative. UndeployerThe ServerAssist management console provides the Remote Deployment Wizard to easily deploy the ServerAssist agent to a remote Windows computer over the network.A remotely deployed agent can be undeployed from within the management console, but for occasions when the management console is not available, the undeployer can be used to remove the agent from a remote computer. |
