Installation - MSIs

ServerAssist's installations use the Windows Installer component of Microsoft operating systems to provide software installation, maintenance and removal functionality.

Whilst the recommended approach for installing ServerAssist is to use the packages, which use the Windows Installer internally, in some automated or scripted configuration scenarios the underlying MSI files will be more useful. MSI files are available for the following components:

• Full installation
• Agent only
• Console only
• Web Interface
• MIB Library
• Tools
• Gateway
• Resource Kit
• Instrumentation
• Data Store Manager
