Reporting - Event Logs

The event logs report lists all events from the event log for a number of days, subject to a maximum number of events for each log. These settings and the event filters in place can be changed using the report presentation and thresholds & filters configuration. The events are displayed with the most recent listed first, and are colour-coded to indicate the type of event.

For each event, the date, time, source, category and event ID are always displayed. Clicking the » next to the event will display a second row of information that gives more information about the event.

The Filter Event Types section provides a row of tick boxes at the top of the report, one for each type of event. Deselecting an event type will remove all events of that type from the report, and selecting it again will reinstate those events. Advanced filtering can be carried out using the analysis capabilities of ServerAssist.
