Aggregated Information - Merged Alerts


In response to events that occur on a system, such as a change in the state of the key indicators or a service failing, ServerAssist can generate alerts that are stored in the configured data store.

The merged alert list combines all alerts across all connected systems, allowing combined alert activity to be easily reviewed.

Initially, new alerts have a status of 'New', and both 'New' and 'Acknowledged' alerts will contribute to the appropriate alert count within the Key Indicators for their respective computers. The status of alerts can be manually changed between 'New', 'Acknowledged' and 'Resolved' as appropriate. Acknowledged and retained alerts can be automatically deleted after a set period of time, unless they have been selected to be retained.


  New alert   A new alert that has not yet been acknowledged.
 
  Acknowledged alert   An acknowledged alert.
 
  Resolved alert   A resolved alert.
