Monitored Infrastructure - Managed Networks

The operations server periodically scans one or more "networks" and connects to any ServerAssist agents or management servers that it discovers. An agent is added directly to the list of discovered systems; management servers are queried and both the management server itself and the systems that it monitors are added to the list.

Managed networks can be scanned using any of the supported connection and authentication methods. Note that the console and the operations server operate independently and use different connection data; a system connected in the console is not necessarily in the list of discovered systems, and vice-versa.
