Upgrading ServerAssist is quick and simple. We recommend that you upgrade the management console first, and then the agents. For the agents you should upgrade using the same method as you used to install the agent originally.
- Download the latest version of ServerAssist from the web site.
- Upgrade any computer running the management console first, by simply running the installation program on those computers. This will upgrade the various ServerAssist components as necessary.
Once the management console has been upgraded, you can upgrade the agents on your servers.
- If the agent was deployed using the remote deployment wizard, you should run the wizard again from the upgraded management console, and select 'Upgrade connected computers'.
- To upgrade any servers that had used the installation program to directly install the agent, run the new installation program on those servers.
